How we help Quakers Hill
To keep things focused, we work across five core areas. Click any of them below for a Quakers Hill-specific page on how we handle that type of matter.
Traffic Offences → From drink driving and speeding through to licence appeals and P-plater suspensions. As a rule, Blacktown Local Court hears these.
Criminal Law → Above all, we focus on protecting your record and your future, whether it’s assault, AVOs, drug offences, theft or a first-time charge.
Family Law → Separation, divorce, parenting, property settlements and consent orders. Above all, we keep things calm, quick and child-focused.
Conveyancing → In each case, whether you’re buying an established Quakers Hill family home, a duplex or townhouse around Hambledon Road or Lalor Road, or a newer property towards the Schofields border — fixed-fee from the first call.
Wills and Estates → Wills, powers of attorney, enduring guardianship, probate and, where needed, estate disputes.
Why Quakers Hill locals choose us
First, we’re local. Our Bella Vista office is about a 12-minute drive from Quakers Hill — straight down Sunnyholt Road, or alternatively via the M7. On top of that, we appear at Blacktown Local Court regularly and at Parramatta Local Court most weeks. As a result, we know how each list runs, who the registrars are, and what each magistrate expects — so by the time your first appearance comes around, it isn’t anyone’s first day.
Second, we’re small enough to care. From start to finish, you’ll speak to the principal solicitor on every matter — not a different paralegal each call. In most cases, clients reach us within a business day. Beyond that, we offer after-hours appointments when work or family makes business hours impossible.
Finally, we’re upfront on cost. Wherever the matter allows, we offer fixed-fee quotes. Otherwise, you’ll get a clear written estimate before any work begins. Either way, no surprise bills.
About the suburb we serve
Quakers Hill is one of the larger established suburbs in the Blacktown LGA — first developed in the late 1980s and built out steadily through the 1990s and 2000s, with newer infill continuing today around the Schofields and Tallawong borders. Today it’s home to around 27,000 residents, making it one of the most populous suburbs on Sydney’s north-west fringe. Housing stock is genuinely mixed — substantial three- and four-bedroom brick homes from the late 1980s and 1990s on full blocks, duplex and townhouse pockets from the 2000s around Hambledon Road and Lalor Road, and newer estate-style development towards the Schofields end of the suburb. As a result, median house prices typically sit between $1.0 and $1.2 million for established homes, with newer-build properties trading higher.
In terms of who lives there, Quakers Hill is one of the most genuinely multicultural suburbs in Sydney. In particular, the suburb has one of the largest Filipino communities in Australia, alongside well-established Indian, Pacific Islander, Chinese and Sri Lankan populations — with the majority of households speaking a language other than English at home. On top of that, the demographic skews younger than the established Hills suburbs, with a high proportion of working families, school-aged kids, and first- and second-home buyers. Consequently, the work we see from Quakers Hill clients reflects that mix. For instance, first-home buyer conveyancing and investor purchases, off-the-plan and newer-build contracts towards Schofields, separations and parenting matters for younger families, wills for families with young children and a mortgage, and the traffic and criminal matters that inevitably come with the M7, Sunnyholt Road and the Richmond rail line running through the suburb.

Frequently asked questions: courts, fees and appointments
Which court will my Quakers Hill matter be heard at? Generally, Blacktown Local Court on Kildare Road hears most Local Court matters from Quakers Hill — including traffic charges, AVOs, and lower-level criminal matters. For family law matters, we usually file in the Federal Circuit and Family Court at Parramatta. In either case, we appear regularly.
Do you offer fixed fees? Yes, for simple matters. In particular, we fix-fee conveyancing, simple wills, powers of attorney, and many traffic and some lower-level criminal matters from the first call. For more complex matters, we give a clear written estimate before any work begins.
How much does the first consultation cost? The first call is free. Consultations attract our standard rate, which we’ll tell you about upfront.
How quickly can I get an appointment? In most cases, we book clients in within one to two business days. That said, for urgent matters — bail, AVO listings, urgent parenting issues — we’ll see you the same day where we can.
Frequently asked questions: consultations and conveyancing
Can I have an after-hours or weekend appointment? Yes. By arrangement, we offer evening and weekend appointments for clients who can’t make it in during business hours.
Do you offer phone or video consultations? Yes, where possible. In fact, many Quakers Hill clients prefer phone or video for the first consult and only come into the office when documents need signing.
Do you handle conveyancing for first-home buyers and off-the-plan purchases? Yes. As mentioned, Quakers Hill has a strong first-home buyer and investor market, particularly towards the Schofields border where newer-build and off-the-plan properties are common. We act on first-home buyer purchases, off-the-plan contracts, investor buys, established home sales, and transfers. Just as importantly, we know what to watch for — sunset clauses in off-the-plan contracts, strata schemes in newer developments, and First Home Buyer Choice and stamp duty issues for eligible buyers.
What if my matter isn’t in one of your five practice areas? Give us a call. If it’s not something we handle, then we’ll point you toward a local solicitor who does.
